5 ways to best deal with anxiety as a Christian

    It is natural for us to worry and get scared from time to time. However, those with anxiety may be consumed by fear of things that you consider small, making it very difficult to notice.

Every day we walk around these people without any knowledge about what they are going through. Rarely do we say a word to them. It is always good to remind people that there is someone great and mighty above watching over them. 

Even without saying a word, you can always share a message of hope and faith with them in God the Father by simply wearing Christian apparel.

Since wearing Christian clothing with a message of faith and hope may not be enough, we have analyzed other practical ways to deal with anxiety.

Give your life to Christ Jesus

 Matthew 11:28-30 reads, “Come to me, all you who labor and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Christ Jesus will remove hopelessness and give you real rest in Him. If you feel burdened with worries of life, surrender to Jesus, and He will refresh you.

Fellowship with others

Hebrews 10:24-25 reads, ‘And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Doing organized things with those you feel connected with allows you to feel supported and secure. For Christians, you can plan to come up with Christian brands or Christian clothing designs to keep you off the things that upset you.

Focusing on good things

An excellent way to keep your mind off worrying is to focus your thoughts on good and positive things.

Learn to appreciate the small blessings. Proverbs reads,’ a joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Always allow yourself to imagine the best can happen. 

Pray

 Philippians 4:6-7 says, ‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guide your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Through prayer you share what is worrying you and you become relived and live a healthy life.

Besides, Isaiah   40:31 says, ‘But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Disclose your worries unto the lord through prayers to relax your mind. 

Enough sleep, nourishment and exercise

 1st Timothy 4:8 reads,’ for physical training is of some value, but godliness has value of all things, holding promise for both the present and the life to come.

It would help if you kept your body fit. Daily practice affects your body as it allows you to relax. Exercise sends oxygen to every cell in the body, so all parts, including the brain, operate at their best.

Moreover, you should get the right amount of sleep for your mind and body to relax. Most important of all, choose to eat well for your health.

Today’s world has many tribulations hindering healthy social life. Therefore, individuals are left to suffer anxiety on their own. However, you can share inspiration, peace, and strength through artistic Christian apparel and stationary.
