To be able to win a soul is a privilege, a very excellent one at that which brings joy to God The Father every time. I don’t know if you have been there before, but the truth is, there is no greater joy than seeing someone you have spoken to, prayed and cared for, get converted to Christ. Of all the things we can do for God, soul-winning remains the most profitable endeavor. It is the master key that unlocks unimaginable blessings in the kingdom.

Every Christian is either a Soul winner or a Backslider. Which one are you? Remember, God does not call the equipped, He rather equips the called. As Christians, we are all called to share with people what Christ did for humanity, this is our primary duty.

Some of Christ’s last words on earth were;

• “Go ye and make disciples of all nations…” 
• “…teach all nations…”
• “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

This goes to show that; sharing our faith with others isn’t just a suggestion, it’s a command. However, our obedience to this command, is what opens us up to a world of tremendous blessings. God even promised us His abiding presence when we obey Him in soul winning.

It entails a deliberateness at pointing them to the cross and showing them the price that Jesus paid for their sins. Soul winning is one of the purposes of our salvation. Without mincing words, we got saved so we can rise for the salvation of others. It is the debt we all owe Jesus as believers and we break His heart, making His sacrifice on the cross of no effect when we fail to win souls for Him.
