DON'T LET NOTHING WEIGH YOU DOWN, PUT ON YOUR PRAISE

DON'T LET NOTHING WEIGH YOU DOWN, PUT ON YOUR PRAISE

DON'T LET NOTHING WEIGH YOU DOWN, PUT ON YOUR PRAISE

We are just a few days to the end of this year and so many people can't see reasons to count their blessings and praise God because they feel God has failed them and hasn't done so much for them. This is a wrong position to take. God may not have done all that you wanted yet, but you cannot deny the fact that God has been good to you. You have life and good health, you are not homeless, you did not lose anyone to death or disaster. Friend, the list of God’s goodness to you is endless, you only need to check it well.

One thing God can never do is fail. God has never failed any man. Can you for a moment shift your gaze from what hasn’t happened in your life, to the many other things that God has done; some of the which you never even asked for?

Whether you're waiting for the manifestations of your miracles or you have them in your hand already, one thing this article is out to teach you is that;

YOU MUST NEVER LOSE YOUR PRAISE.

Praise is a weapon that works wonders when everything else has failed. Praise turns impossible situations around and moves the hand of God to intervene in a person’s favor. Praise Is One of the greatest ways of showing our total dependence on God particularly so when things do not seem to be going right. Unlike when you have just been blessed by God, praising God when the going is tough and there are no physical blessings can be an uphill task and this is why it is important to deliberately cultivate the habit of praising God at all times

When you pray God can send another human being or an angel as answers to your prayers, but when you praise God, God doesn’t send anyone, rather He comes down by Himself, steps into your battles, take them over and conquer for you without you lifting a finger to fight.

Jehoshaphat and Judah had a battle to fight: three nations came together against them and according to scriptures, they didn't know what to do, but God in the midst of their turmoil gave them an instruction to praise Him and as they praised God in spite of the battle were face to face with, God ambushed their enemies, turned them against one another till they all helped to destroy themselves and none escaped, they all killed themselves. That is how mighty your praise can be. (Read 2Chronicles 20)

Benefits Of Praising God

One of the things God the Father craves from His people is praise and the Bible give expression to this need and crave of God in many ways; let everything that has breath praise the Lord in all things give thanks I will praise thee O Lord with my whole heart the man David even said seven times a day do I praise thee

Whether the going is good or not in hardship,  pain comfort or bliss, 1 habits we must deliberately cultivate is that of praising God in all situations and for all things

Praise as a lot of benefits that everyone who is wise cannot but engage in it for their profiting

  1. Praise changes your atmosphere and attracts good things to you. Psalm 22:3

If God inhabits the praises of His people, then when you begin to praise God, only what can survive His presence can stay in your atmosphere. Truth is, if you were sad before, when you begin to praise, you’ll be shocked at how dramatically your mood will change and you would become joyous.

  1. Praise breaks chains and captivities.  Acts 16:25 - 26

Paul and Silas were kept in prison but in spite of their terrible situation, they chose praise and as they sang and praised, their chains fell off and prison doors broke loose.

  1. Praise provokes God’s blessings to do more, because whatever you thank God for always multiplies. Psalm 67:3 - 7

Do not be deceived, God longs to be praised, HE practically desires and look forward to the praises of His people. God The Father feasts on our praises, that is the only thing He requires from us.

After you have cultivated the covenant habit of constantly praising God, you need to take a step further by making a conscious effort at making those all around you to also praise God. How?

Truth be told, it is very possible and effective to make people to praise God everywhere you go by putting on clothes with words that declare praises to God. This way, you make people give unsolicited praise to God without forcing them, simply by putting on clothes with words that declare praises to God.

When clothes are branded with praises to God, everyone that can read will surely give praise to God either silently or loudly.

When words are written on the clothes we wear, we provoke everyone that meet us to praise God, because as they meet us, they will read what is written on our clothes and as they read it, they will unconsciously and for some, consciously give praise to God. When a person wears clothes that have words that declare praises to God on them, people are made to praise God beyond the reach of the person wearing the clothes. Why not decide to give praise to God through the clothes you wear beginning today?

  • Through Worship

God The Father deserves our worship.

Worship, is an extreme form of love, it is an unquestioning devotion to God that can be channeled to our praise of God. Worship is a life, a life of total obedience to God. Living to give God praise is a life of worship and our worship can be done through singing praises to God, obeying His every command, staying in fellowship with Him, staying in fellowship with our brethren, serving Him faithfully and doing only those things that are approved of God. We are admonished in Hebrews 13:15 to praise God continually because God deserves our infinite praise, devoting our lives to worshipping God will enable us to fulfill this admonition. A good example of someone who lived to worship God is King David in the scriptures, he even wrote down the words of his praise and in some cases he specified the instruments that is used to declare his praises for us to know how meticulous and deliberate he is about his worship of God. As I read from the pages of the scriptures and observed in life experiences, I observed that everyone that lives to worship God enjoys so many benefits and blessings in life and you can join that team today.

  • Through Spreading His Name.

The Names of God are so many and many of these names actually declares praise to God. For example, the name Jehovah is still used as a form of praise to remember His character. In the Bible, He is:

  • Jehovah Jireh, The God Who Provides (Genesis 22:14)
  • Jehovah Nissi, God My Banner (Exodus 17:15)
  • Jehovah Shammah, God is There (Ezekiel 48:35)
  • Jehovah Tsuri, God My Rock (Psalm 28:1)
  • Jehovah Shalom, God of Peace (Judges 6:24)
  • Jehovah Roi, God My Shepherd (Psalm 23:1)
  • Jehovah Uzzi, God of Strength (Psalm 28:7)
  • Jehovah Ori, God of Light (Psalm 27:1)
  • Jehovah Rophe, God of Healing (Exodus 15:26)
  • Jehovah Sabaoth, God of Heavenly Hosts (Psalm 24:10)
  • Jehovah Magen, God My Shield (Psalm 33:20)
  • Jehovah Tsikenu, The Lord Our Righteousness (Jeremiah 23:6)

These names can be spread by using them strategically to brand different items like clothings, wrist bands, umbrellas, souvenirs and so on. When people come by any of these branded items and read the words on them, they will give praise to God as the words are read.

Praising God is a commanded covenant exercise that moves the hands of God to intervene in the affairs of a person’s life. What are you still expecting from God? Do you know your praise can move the hand of God to release them to you just before this year finally rolls off? Don’t allow anything to rob you of the gratitude of God, get your praise on!
